Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush met Akshay Kumar in Mumbai to discuss the possibility. The latest buzz in industry circles is that Superstar Rajinikanth might to do the lead role in the Tamil remake of recent Hindi hit, OMG! Oh My God. The Akshay Kumar film which hit the screens recently, received a positive response from critics. It is now said that attempts are on to remake it in Tamil.

“Rajini’s elder daughter, Aishwarya R Dhanush, met Akshay in Mumbai recently and discussed about directing the movie’s Tamil version. She is planning to have her father in the lead role,” sources said. Aishwarya made her directorial debut with 3 earlier this year. OMG! Oh My God is based on a Gujarati play titled Kanji Viruddh Kanji, and has a plot similar to that of the Australian film The Man Who Sued God.
