Bollywood’s veteran playback singer Asha Bhosle would be soon recording Guru Nanak Devji’s verses, the first Guru in Sikhism. Asha Bhosle, who has lately been going through a rough patch in life after her daughter Varsha Bhosle committed suicide in October, recently took time off and flew to Dubai for a holiday.

The singer Tweeted on the social networking site, “Short break with family in Dubai before getting back to work in BOM (Mumbai).  Shall begin recording Guru Nanak’s verses.” The 'Nightingale of India’ Lata Mangeshkar, who is Bhosle’s elder sister too, has also sung few songs and verses from Gurbani.
