Tennis sensation and Hyderabad beauty Sania Mirza joined the Bollywood brigade at runway for designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2012, held at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. With her hair in place and impeccable make-up in check, Mirza looked stunning in a sari gown as she sashayed down the ramp with lots of grace and confidence.

The deep royal blue color of her outfit offset the stylish sports star skin tone beautifully. Interacting with the media, Mirza said: “The experience was very different to what I usually do! I had a lot of fun and it helps because there is no pressure from this (designer’s) side because they are my friends! They just asked me to go out there and have fun, so that’s what I was doing.” She added, “This sari gown is so comfortable that I can play tennis wearing it!”

Bevy of Bollywood beauties: The two-day fashion event saw a bevy of Bollywood hotties. The gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan scorched the stage in a creation by designer Vikram Phadnis. Kangana Ranaut as the show stopper for Gavin Miguel looked ravishing in all white outfit. Sonakshi Sinha modeled for Falguni and Shane Peacock.

Bollywood diva Celina Jaitley also walked the ramp as showstopper for designer Neeta Lulla’s. Draped in a floor length black ball gown, it was the recently turned yummy mummy’s first appearance after her pregnancy. Also gracing the event was newbie Esha Gupta. The model turned actress dazzled in an exquisitely low cut sheer black ball gown of designer friend Mandira Wirk.

Other B-town celebs and socialites spotted at the finale of the fashion extravaganza cheering friends were Sridevi with her daughters, Mugdha Godse, Dino Morea, Gauhar Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Tara Sharma and Rana Daggubati among many others.
