Sanjay Dutt has reportedly tried to mend bridges between Vivek Oberoi and the director of Zila Ghaziabad. The younger actor is said to have left Anand Kumar's project halfway over a pay dispute.
A source told Mid Day: "The film has already has its fair share of trouble. While the film had been on the backburner for a while, even Dutt completed the dubbing for his part recently. Soon after, he asked his friend Vivek too to complete the dubbing.
"Vivek and Dutt are good friends. The senior actor even calls Vivek's wife Priyanka his sister." Producer Vinod Bachchan denied that the gangster thriller is likely to have a delayed release. "I am looking forward to the film's release in January next year," he said.
In July, it was reported that Oberoi was learning the Ghaziabadi dialect for his role. Dutt is said to be so close to Oberoi that he gave the Krrish actor advice on tattoos.
