Soon, the bubbly Bollywood bombshell Anushka Sharma will be seen in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola where she’s paired up with Imran Khan. Both the co-co-stars had fun during the film-shoot and have generated a camaraderie while which Imran has decided to gift her, a painting.

Con-incidenty, both stars share past in the city of Bengaluru. Being a Bengaluru born, Anushka shares the best of child hood memories here while Imran Khan has done most of his schooling from the metropolis. Sources from the filmset inform that often the two actors broke into chats which were filled with reminiscence of times of yore.

During an auction, Imran got his eye glued to a painting which depicted inspirations from the city, he instantly decided to buy it and gift it to Anushka. The source says, “Artistically, the painting depicts Bengaluru in a similar way that late artiste Mario Miranda painted Goa. It is a very expensive piece of artwork and it has a map of the city with a few highlights of places and people.”

Adding not to get fishy about it, the spokesman on behalf of Imran said, "Imran doesn't like to talk about his friends. With Anushka, he shares a special bond on Bengaluru as they both have lived in the city for many years. It's natural for the two to have discussions about it.”
