Sexy, hot, spicy and tikhi mirchi are the adjectives she uses to describe herself. Like her or hate her, you can’t ignore her. Drama queen of the industry, Rakhi Sawant, who is nothing short of an item-song queen in Bollywood, is all set to make her item song debut in Pollywood with upcoming Punjabi movie, Pooja Kiwen Hai.
During a shoot at Tao Bar & Lounge, Sector 26, on Thursday night, Rakhi, as always, ends up talking more than she intends to. This being her second visit to Chandigarh, Rakhi is simply in love with the place. “I came here for the shooting of Dil Bole Hadippa and found Punjabis very heart warming.”
So, is that the reason she came back for another item song? “The director of the movie, Nidhi Sharma, is a very close friend, and I can do anything for friends! This song too is about friendship. Moreover, I’m happy that young girls like Nidhi are coming forward and showcasing their talent; I love to support such people,” she says.
Elaborating further on the song, she adds, “It’s a beautiful, seductive song with lyrics such as Pappiyaan Jhappiyan, and is sung by female lead of the movie, Miss Pooja.”
About her ongoing affair with Bollywood, she says, “I will be seen doing an item number in Shatrughan Sinha’s production, in which Sonakshi Sinha plays the main lead. Don’t worry, you’d get to see a lot more of Rakhi Sawant now, as I have various projects lined up.”
Thanks to our undying urge of knowing the ‘real’ Rakhi, we dare to frame the question, to which she says, “The real Rakhi is very simple and homely, and definitely someone who doesn’t like to party. I love to travel, shop, read and do kick-boxing.” So, is that the reason why none of her fights are ‘fake’, so to say? “Ab mere sath koi galat karega to me use chhodungi thodi!”
