Rajinikanth's work, lifestyle, passion for films have inspired countless people. Latest person to get motivated from his work is none other than Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, who is making her Tamil debut in the superstar's Kochadaiyaan.

The actress has said that Rajinikanth's dedication to work has inspired her a lot. She is awe stuck by the superstar's energetic presence on the sets. People can easily see the passion for work in his eyes, claims the Bangalore-based girl.

Deepika Padukone further adds that she witnessed the same level of energy in him after he returned from the illness, which made him to stay away from shoots over a year. However, the actress' has gone extra mile to work with Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan.

The actress was first signed for Rana, the project which was launched in April 2011, but as Rajinikanth fell ill and was uncertain of when he would return, the shooting plans went haywire and Deepika's dates were wasted.

However, the makers of the film temporarily shelved the project and Rajinikanth decided to act in Kochadaiyaan. Deepika Padukone was approached again and the actress gave a nod to this film at the cost of a few big Hindi films.
