Coming on the heels of the bans on films like Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod and Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger in Pakistan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has every chance of running into trouble with the Pak censor board.

Shahrukh Khan’s 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' could be banned in Pakistan!

According to reports, since Shahrukh Khan plays an officer in the Indian army’s bomb disposal squad and is involved in an operation in Kashmir, the authorities in Pakistan may see red over an issue that has rankled between the two nations for 65 years.

Buzz is that the promos of Jab Tak Hai Jaan have already been taken off from some TV channels. The Pakistani Censor Board is yet to review the film, but a strict and obdurate appraisal by them could not be ruled out.

Meanwhile, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has acquired a new importance in India. It will be Yash Chopra’s last and posthumous release after his death on Sunday, October 21. The film stars Chopra’s favourite Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. It will hit the theatres on November 13.
