While Ranbir may claim it is a mere coincidence, industry watches could not help noticing that the similarity between Ranbir's intelligent choice of roles and impressive performances and the manner in which Aamir Khan has shaped his career.
Talking about 'following' Aamir's route to success and his father's comment that he ought to be doing action roles as well, Ranbir told TOI that he was not following anybody and was just interested in doing all types of cinema when he still had a chance.
He did not seem perturbed that his movies do not belong to the Rs 100-crore club and opined that movies that make less money should not be judged harshly for this reason alone.
About his supposed refusal to do Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam due to issues about remuneration, Ranbir pointed that money has never been a big deal for him. He unequivocally clarified, "I am pretty much part of Besharam and yes, I am doing films with both the Kashyap brothers."
Fans are looking forward to this movie where real-life cousins Ranbir and Kareena will play siblings on the big screen as well. There is speculation that even Rishi and Neetu will be seen in the movie.
