It's injustice to make films to earn Rs_100 crore, Nikhil AdvaniDirector Nikhil Advani, whose animated film Delhi Safari hit theatres this Friday, believes films should be made to encourage art and not just with the motive of earning Rs.100 crore.

"I believe if we are making films only for Rs. 100 crore, just for the magic number of 100 crore, then we are not doing justice. Then we should sit at the cash counter and sell something else," the 41-year-old said here in an interview at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.

"I think films should be made for encouraging art and doing something better. We all need to do our bit," he added.Delhi Safari deals with the fight of animals who are in danger to lose out on their homes when forests are encroached upon by builders.Advani also admits he is not completely against money-minting films as they provide funds for smaller, message-based projects like Delhi Safari.

"I am not saying that we should not be making 100 crores, it's very good, best of luck to the films that are making Rs.100 crores. Because of those films, we are getting money to make our smaller films and films that we feel are important," said Advani, who made his Bollywood debut with 2002 hit Kal Ho Na Ho.
