The competition between Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor is getting hotter - the top Bollywood heroines are in the race to play Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' and it promises to be a true battle of the divas.

The buzz is that Madhur is keen to revive his project which was postponed indefinitely following the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy. Allegedly, the director even flew to Hyderabad for a script narration with Kareena, who was the original choice for the lead role in 'Heroine' but backed out as some scenes in the movie were apparently too close for comfort to her real-life.

Priyanka has, of course, worked with Madhur in 'Fashion' and even won a National Award for it. She's already said that she's keen to work with Madhur again, even though she denied that she'd been appraoched for 'Heroine' right after Ash stepped out.
