Saddening events are occurring in continuity for veteran singer Asha Bhosle. Soon after her daughter's suicide blow, the news of Yash Chopra's demise, has left the Asha in a state of grief. She looked up to yash Chopra as her elder brother and cannot believe that the filmmaker is no more. Yash Chopra died of multiple organ failure in Lilavati Hospital here on October 21. He was 80.

The 79 year old was associated to Chopra with movies like Chandni and Dil To Pagal Hai, took to Twitter to express her grief. "Just as I was getting over the grief of my daughter, my brother Yash Chopra bhaisaab has left me. Sad year," she wrote. The singer's daughter Varsha committed suicide by shooting herself at her Peddar Road residence, here. She was 56.

The filmmaker hogged limelight because of his return as the director of Jab Tak hai Jaan, after a gap of 7 years. His death before the release of his last project, has left Bollywood in shock.
