Making her entry as the Shillong Choir Group played, pretty woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan drew gasps of admiration, looking stunning and shapely in a black gown and Dolce & Gabbana fitted short jacket. Aishwarya was in New Delhi as ambassador for watch brand Longines which celebrates 180 years. Aishwarya described time as being the biggest luxury in her life.

Juggling diaper duty and professional commitments, Aishwarya said she was enjoying every bit of being full time mother to Aaradhya and wouldn't want it any other way. Being under the constant glare of the press and with flashbulbs hounding herself and her daughter, the actress said that she doesn't always mean to keep Aaradhya so shielded from public view.

She said, "I realised this would happen and expected it, and I don't mean it in a bad way but there are people in my life like my parents who aren't used to it. And with my baby with me, it's instinctive. If I see her getting startled or her eyes opening I protect her. It's not intentional that I want to keep her away."

And with her weight being under constant scrutiny, Ash said "It's never been an issue with me. Rather I have moms coming up to me and thanking me, saying that you are just like us. If my weight was an issue I would be under cover." And when are you back on screen, we asked. Ash said, "Soon. I am finally reading scripts. There are several offers but am slowly getting around to reading scripts now."

So any particular roles that she is looking for? Aishwarya said, "I began with Iruvar. My directors have had faith in me and I am willing to push the envelope." Not only is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan still the most beautiful woman in the world, she is also mummy number one.
