Last seen in the film Tezz, the actress has turned into a stunning item gal for the director, who likes to keep an item song in his otherwise serious, hard-hitting films, and Chakravyuh is no different. Kunda Khol is composed by Sandesh Shandilya, and belted out by the singer Sunidhi Chauhan, while the lyrics are by Ashish Sahu. In the same league as other rustic item songs, Sameera’s Kunda Khol has little novelty factor, besides her ravishing self. Sameera in a red choli and skirt looks fabulous as a dancer. However, it’s the tune of the song that lacks the spunk a prerequisite for any item track.
May be director Prakash Jha wanted a song on the lines of Munni Badnam or Namak Ishq Ka to go with the story of his film, based on the naxal issue. But the item track seems to do little to help the film. Prakash Jha has shot the song extensively in Bhopal at Rizwanbagh area of Koh-e-fiza of the old city, along with the Singham fame Murli Sharma. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya a choreographer who made songs like Babu ji and Chamma Chamma a sensation but the terrific dance director fails to make an impact in this song.
