For Yash Chopra’s upcoming film, a big Diwali release starring Shahrukh Khan, Katina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the music maestro finalized the singer Harshdeep Kaur to sing for Kat in all her music tracks. Singer Harshdeep Kaur is not new to the music industry. This talented Punjabi girl has won two music reality shows, and has popular tracks Jugni (Cocktail), Katiya Karoon (Rockstar), Jhak Maar Ke (Desi Boyz) to her credit. Rahman is so impressed with Harshdeep that he has even included her in his music troupe that travels with him during his international performances.

As Mohit Chauhan became Ranbir Kapoor’s voice in the film Rockstar, Rahman roped in Harshdeep for all of Kat’s songs in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The tracks that Harshdeep Kaur has sung are very diverse. When A R Rahman has already introduced Rabbi Shergill as Shahrukh Khan’s voice in the song Challa, the wait is for the rest of the tracks.
