‘Khanna’ is included in Nithara’s name to pay a special tribute to Rajesh Khanna, reports HT. Akshay Kumar was blessed with a baby girl on September 25 when Twinkle Khanna delivered at Breach Candy Hospital in South Bombay. Since then there were speculations about the baby’s name. Akshay Kumar has a 10-year-old son named Aarav -- a Sanskrit word -- and now he has named his daughter Nithara, which again is a Sanskrit name, meaning luminous.

A grand home-coming was planned for Nithara on September 29, and Akshay expressed his joy on twitter by posting a picture of his home.
