Gandhigiri has never really been Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan’s style. The actor, who has often grabbed headlines for all wrong reasons, is in news again. Reports have it that Salman Khan’s bodyguards were involved in a scuffle with some locals of a village where the actor had gone to shoot his much awaited ‘Dabangg 2’.
Sources said that Salman and his entourage were scouting for location in a village near Panchgani when this untoward incident happened. Superintendent of police (Satara) KMM Prasanna said the entourage was looking for a location for the shoot with the help of locals when all of a sudden a fight ensued. "Khan had hired the services of locals to find out an ideal spot for the shoot. The entourage was in an SUV and was accompanied by villagers on motorcycles," he said.
After a while, the actor stepped out of the SUV and borrowed a bike belonging to one of the villagers, cops said. He was riding the bike, followed by the SUV, when a villager on a bike tried to overtake him. "Khan`s security personnel, who were in the SUV, were ensuring that the villagers stayed behind their vehicle. When the villagers tried to overtake the vehicle, the bike brushed against the SUV and the riders fell. Two of them sustained minor injuries," a police officer said. The incident caused a minor altercation between the actor`s team and the villagers.
But one of the actor`s team members said, “The villagers had dragged out the SUV`s driver and beat him up. We were following the actor who was on the bike. We tried to overtake the villagers who were between the actor`s bike and our vehicle. The villagers became angry and this led to the incident.”
