OMG Oh My God: Movie ReviewThe existence of God has been an intriguing theme, that have occupied the minds of the philosophers for decades now. Considering the arguments for God's existence, comedy masters Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar have come up with the theme of divine comedy OMG Oh My God, which deals with the issues of atheism and the existence of the almighty. OMG Oh My God, which is releasing today, features Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads.

Our reviewer is currently watching the film in the theatre. And, we are here to keep you updated about her texts and views on the movie. Directed by Umesh Shukla, OMG Oh My God is adapted from the hugely popular play Kishan vs Kanhaiya which has had 450-plus shows in Gujarati, 150 in Hindi and 100 in Marathi.

What is the story all about? The movie is a hilarious story of an atheist Kanjibhai (Paresh Rawal), who runs an antique shop. He buys old looking god and other religious idols, which he usually sells as 'antique' idols at double or triple prices, and sometimes even 10 times its original price. This offends many godmen, who curses him. Kanjibhai suffers loss in his business, following a natural calamity. It is then, Kanji decides to file a case against God on the premise that if God is responsible for his loss, it is God's responsibility to compensate him for his losses.

Performances so far: Paresh Rawal, being one of the finest comedians of the recent times, does a good job in the movie. Rawal's amazing comic timing in the movie is a treat to watch. Akshay Kumar is complete surprise package in the movie. Akki plays the part of Lord Krishna, who descends on the earth to meet Rawal. Akshay's witty dialogues makes us giggle relentlessly.

OMG Oh My God has sparked good response all over, after all when Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are coming together over such a long period of time, their merger is bound to create a blast. Verdict so far: OMG Oh My God is very different from the recent usual slapstick comedies. The film has been interesting and very entertaining so far. Since it's a hilarious fight between the non-believers and the god himself, I'm eagerly waiting to watch who wins the battle in the end?
