Earlier this year (in May), she gave birth to a baby boy, Viaan, her first child with hubby Raj Kundra. But even now, Shilpa Shetty is in no hurry to get back in front of the camera. In fact, she is enjoying the experience of playing a doting mother in real life.
“I am not even thinking about it (returning to acting). I have been there, done that. Right now, I am giving my full attention to Viaan. And honestly, I have no regrets being a full-time mother,” says Shilpa, who married Kundra in 2009. “I always tell Raj that in an age whern my parents didn’t have the luxury of time, my mother took time off (from work) to look after us. Similarly, my father would give us all his attention after work. So, when I have the luxury of time for my kid, why wouldn’t I do it? But maybe, after a year, I will think of films again,” says Shilpa.
The actor, who on Monday announced Olympic bronze medal-winning boxer Mary Kom as the brand ambassador of Super Fight League (SFL), owned by Kundra and actor Sanjay Dutt, accepts that nowadays “everything revolves around only Viaan and I don’t get much time to do anything else. Our lives have undergone a complete transformation.”

Interestingly, Kundra recently stated with a laugh: “I told Shilpa, let’s get ready for part two (another baby), but she replied, ‘Get another wife.’ Ask her about it and she says with a laugh. “Right now, our hands are completely full with one kid. Where’s the time to even think about the second kid? It’s nowhere even on the horizon. I stepped out for the announcement (Mary Kom) because I really believe that fighters should have someone to look up to.”
