Many know her as the cute adorable Lalli, and love her for her impeccable comic timing and hilarious acts! But standup comedian Bharti Singh, who recently withdrew from dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ seems to have offended the makers of the show.  The show that features Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit, filmmaker Karan Johar and choreographer Remo D’Souza as the judges has been pretty popular among TV viewers.

Before quitting the show, Bharti vented out her angst and accused the channel airing the show of meting out unfair treatment to her. She said, “I had been suffering from a sore back for the last three weeks and my doctor had advised me against dancing. Even the channel was aware of my health issues, but I was still forced to dance in various rounds.”

She even went on to say that half of the show’s TRPs is because of her popularity. Karan Johar was prompt enough to correct her and said that it was because of the show that she succeeded in getting film offers and that she must be grateful to JDJ for doubling her popularity. Madhuri Dixit too looked mighty upset with Bharti’s remarks but chose not to say anything about it. However, Bharti defended her comment and said, “I never intended to say that. Many things which I said were edited and only the harsh bits were kept.”
