The makers of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana seem to have found a rather unique way to promote their film. The actors Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi along with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will be visiting families in Punjab and not only will they stay with them, but also have them prepare the Punjabi delicacy Chicken Khurana during their stay. Says a source, “Since the film is set in Punjab and has a strong connect with the flavour there, we thought it would be interesting for actors to get a real feel of their culture as well. So, Kunal and Huma with Anurag will be staying with families in Ludhiana and Chandigarh and dine on homemade Chicken Khurana.”

Meanwhile, the makers of the film have roped in rapper Honey Singh to perform a special number for the film. According to insiders while the singer is in talks to shoot a special video for them, he will be lending his voice to a track titled Kikli. “Amit Trivedi, who has composed some tracks for Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana is collaborating with Honey Singh, who has already has huge hits that the nation has been grooving to. Amit and we all love his work. In Cocktail too his songs became a rage and we have decided to collaborate with him for a song in Luv Shuv titled Kikli that will be recorded shortly,” says Manish Hariprasad, Creative Director, Studios, Disney UTV. Directed by debutant Sameer Sharma, the film will see Kunal return to the big screen after a long hiatus.
