Salman Khan is all set to get into some high-adrenaline mode akin to the famed Bourne series in his upcoming film Ek Tha Tiger. The actor, who just finished filming Bodyguard, will be shooting some of the key sequences of the film in the same style as the Hollywood thriller series, said a source.

The source adds, “The film is an international thriller and Bhai (Salman) is quite kicked about starting it soon. Though he understands that there is nothing common between Ek Tha Tiger and Bourne films when it comes to the core story and plot perspective, he is quite fascinated by the entire Bourne touch.”

Salman, the source adds, is very excited by the fact that Ek Tha Tiger’s protagonist will be traversing the entire globe on a mission, similar to the Bourne films. “This is for the first time ever in over two decades that Salman would be travelling so extensively for a film of his,” said the source.

Although Yash Raj Films say that the only similarity may be in the style of some of the action, and no absolute denial has come in from the makers, director Kabir Khan’s excitement about shooting abroad for the film has added fuel to the entire Bourne theory. “I am not going to four countries just because I want to travel or my producers are willing to spend a fortune on the film,” he says.
