Bollywood's reigning Heroine Kareena Kapoor, who will play the Indian Prime Minister in Prakash Jha's Satyagrah, will reportedly look for inspiration to leaders like Indira Gandhi, Benazir Bhutto and Margaret Thatcher. Kareena is playing a television journalist who goes onto become an iron-willed head of state. For her role as a journalist, the actress will reportedly model her character on veteran journalist Christiane Amanpour. According to reports, Prakash Jha has asked her to watch tapes of Amanpour's latest coverage and the actress is likely to adopt her dress code as well.
This is the first time that Kareena will be working with Prakash Jha in a film. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee and is reportedly inspired from anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare's movement. Kareena was recently voted the sexiest woman in the world according to a survey conducted by Maxim and also featured on the cover of its prestigious edition. With her film Heroine set to hit the screens on the 21st, September has been one lucky month for the actress.
