With actress Katrina Kaif entering the 200-crore club with her latest release Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan, one would expect her to feel under pressure with her upcoming films. However, a source reveals that the actress is not affected by the number talk at all. “She is obviously elated that the hard work has been appreciated, not only for her, but the entire team. But she’s not the kind to let success affect her at all. Nor does she feel the stress,” says the source.
The actress who’s had a string of hits even before Ek Tha Tiger had earlier said, “I had never let hits or flops affect me, so all this talk of 100 or 200 crore is not something that I get involved in at all.” But what does matter to the actor is the film on the whole.
“You spend so much time on the sets, you give in so much of yourself to the character, so yes you do wish and pray that a film does well. But beyond the outcome of the film at the BO, what equally matters to me is the experience I’ve had while making the film. As an actor there’s an urge to grow with each film and that’s partially what keeps every actor to try to better themselves. And I am no different,” adds Katrina. Busy with Yash Chopra’s untitled with Shah Rukh Khan, the shoot will be followed by working on Dhoom 3 and the actor insists that she’s as excited about working with Aamir Khan, as she was with any of her co-stars earlier.
