Despite being on a self-imposed break of sorts, actor Preity Zinta had made a special appearance for actor and good friend Salman Khan in his film Main Aur Mrs Khanna in 2009. And as Preity gears up for her upcomimg film Ishkq in Paris, that also marks her debut as a producer and writer, it seems it was Salman’s turn to return the favour. So in a friendly gesture, the actor recently shot for a peppy Punjabi dance number for the film. What makes the song all the more special is that the hit pair will be seen shaking a leg together after almost five-six years.

Titled Kudiye di Kurti, the song will see Salman dance with Preity at a wedding function. According to a source, “Salman was more than happy to be a part of Preity’s film and gave his dates right away to the film.” In fact, the actor was even heard talking about the song’s positive vibe and admitted to it being a fun number to shoot for.

Meanwhile, an excited Preity who has been getting a lot of positive feedback for the first look of the film was all praises for Salman. “I love Salman for being part of my first film as a producer. First experiences are the most memorable and special and he has rocked the movie for me by looking so handsome and superhot! Thank you and love you Salman,” said Preity.

Music honcho Bhushan Kumar adds, “Kudiye... is an upbeat fun track and no one could have done it better than Salman. He is a complete rockstar in the number.” Talking about Preity and Salman’s friendship, an insider reveals that the two share a very warm relationship and Salman is very fond of her. “In fact the two have always been rather supportive of each other. So, when the song was offered to Salman he just agreed right away,” says the insider.
