Despite her efforts to avoid grilling by the Delhi police, Bollywood starlet Nupur Mehta could not save herself. The cops on Tuesday, Sep 4 questioned her over Geetika Sharma suicide case. According to sources, after grilling Nupur, more secrets about the high profile controversial suicide case might be revealed. The case has already seen several shocking turnings and Nupur might be proved as one of the crucial persons who may help the cops to crack the case.
Nupur was the first person who had spoken about former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda's relationship with Ankita Singh and about their love child. Geetika too had mentioned about Ankita while writing her suicide letter. Nupur, an ex-employee of Kanda's now defunct MDLR airlines, reportedly was close to Kanda who allegedly had given a flat and money to the starlet.
According to Nupur, Geetika and Ankita had a fight and the former had lodged an FIR against the latter saying that Ankita had trespassed into her apartment in Goa and snatched a laptop and a bag along with her passport. 23-year-old Geetika, a former air hostess in Kanda's airlines, committed suicide on Aug 5. She had accused Kanda and Aruna Chaddha of harassing her and forcing her to commit suicide. Aruna Chaddha is another employee of the airlines and has already been arrested. After putting much efforts, Delhi police arrested Kanda who was missing for a long time following the news of Geetika's suicide. Currently, he has been admitted to a hospital in the national capital as he has complained about health problem.
