Clash of two Vivek Oberoi films resolved

It had almost become a case of who blinks first. The makers of Vivek Oberoi's upcoming films Kumar Taurani and Amit Chandrra were long engaged in a war of words over who should alter the date of release of his film, to avoid a clash at the box office. According to reports Ramesh Taurani has budged first, deciding to shift his release to another date. As a result, Vivek's next opposite Neha Sharma Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story will now release in December. Chandrra's film Kismat Love Paisa Dilli that stars Mallika Sherawat opposite Vivek will release as usual on October 5.

Mr Taurani said: "Yes, I have decided to postpone the release of my film. Amit, Vivek and I had a meeting. Actually we had to complete a song and a few patchwork sequences were remaining, which we haven't been able to complete due to the incessant rains. And since three big projects starring Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan are scheduled to release in November, I have finalised December as the month of my film's release." It's birthday time for Vivek. The actor who is turning 36 today has decided to spend the day with his wife Priyanka who is pregnant and his parents. However, he also plans to attend the shooting of his film Grand Masti.

Recently, Amit Chandrra released the track Dhishkyao from Kismet Love Paisa Dilli and according to the filmmaker, the song is an apt birthday gift for Vivek, thanks to his 'special look' in it. Designer Mamta Anand, who has styled Vivek for the song, says, "I made Vivek look young and fresh as the song itself is very vibrant." Apparently, Vivek liked his look so much that he was heard telling everyone how it reminded him of his Saathiya days.
