Director Madhur Bhandarkar has apparently included a sequence in his upcoming Kareena Kapoor starrer Heroine, based on Preity Zinta's real-life burkha cover-up act. Madhur Bhandarkar is known to seek inspiration from real-life incidents for his 'true to life' films. And apparently he has done just the same for Heroine starring Kareena Kapoor.
This time the filmmaker apparently has 'borrowed' an episode from Preity Zinta's life. The actress was known to have donned the burkha on several occasions to visit movie theatres in disguise. According to a source: "Madhur (Bhandarkar) came to know about this and decided to portray it in his film." The source further added Madhur's leading lady Kareena Kapoor is shown doing something similar in the film. The source adds, "Madhur thought of it as a nice idea."
