Actor Ranbir Kapoor has helped his gym trainer, Pradeep Bhatia, set up his own enterprise. The actor has financially helped him open a gym in Lokhandwala, Andheri. Confirming the news, Pradeep says, “He not only motivated me, but also helped me open my own gym. He has also promised to
promote it.”

Called Elixir, the gym covers almost 12,000 square feet and features sophisticated equipment, and even has a swimming pool. Pradeep, who is accompanying Ranbir on his one-month shooting schedule for director Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, reveals that he will soon have a star-studded launch. “Once we are back from Paris, we will have a press conference, for which actors Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will also be invited,” he says. Pradeep claims that Ranbir treats him like his younger brother and he has also helped him buy a house. “He gave me a raise, and my life got better. If it weren’t for him, this wouldn’t have been possible,” he says.

In Ranbir’s absence, his business manager was contacted and he says, “It is not Ranbir’s commercial venture, so I won’t be able to speak about it.” Pradeep, who has worked with the actor for four-and-a-half years now, has also trained other Bollywood stars. “I have worked with Katrina and Arjun Rampal and have been a trainer for Malaika Arora Khan and Preity Zinta too. Even Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh have trained with me. I used to train them at Sanjay Dutt’s place.”
