It looks to us as if Katrina Kaif has replaced Priyanka Chopra as Kareena's sparring partner. The K-bombs are jostling for top spot in the box office office stakes and the rivalry's threatening to spill over. Just days after Kareena was reported to be making an onscreen dig at Katrina in new film Heroine, it seems the two actresses could potentially be at loggerheads over an endorsement deal.

A major paint brand is hoping to rope in either Kareena or Katrina as their brand ambassador, but haven't yet decided who. "We are in talks and it can be either of the two," Berger Paints chief Abhijit Roy told news agency IANS. The company will invest Rs 35 crore alone on television advertisments.

Both Bebo and Kat are in high demand on the brand-wagon. Kareena, once the actress with the most number of endorsements, is the face of a range of products from laptops and scooters to handbags and beauty aids. Katrina is close on her heels with a jewellery range, soft drink brand, fairness products and a range of watches.

Kareena's fiancé, Saif Ali Khan, is already the brand ambassador for a rival paint company. How will that affect their pillow talk, should Bebo be the one to net this deal? Both actresses have a big movie out this year. Katrina's Ek Tha Tiger, opposite ex-beau Salman Khan, is just weeks away from release, on August 15. Kareena's Heroine is out on September 21, also her birthday. The films are expected to determine who will take up position as this year's reigning female superstar.
