Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's TV debut Satyamev Jayate that stirred souls and awakened social conscience among many has been making the right noises. The first season has till now dealt with a host of hard-hitting topics like child sex abuse, female foeticide, faulty health care system and domestic violence. Not only this, the news was recently abuzz with the fact that the actor might even come up with the second season of the show.
Furthermore, Bollywood star driven show Satyamev Jayate, which has struck the right chord with the audiences has reportedly inspired a British talk show host Tim Sebastian. In case you don't know who he is- Sebastian is the man behind BBC's popular show Hard Talk who has moved to India to start an issue based TV show that will throw light on the social and political issues backed by statistics.
According to a leading daily, the award winning journalist who is conducting the research for his show said that he chose India as his point of focus because he considers that India has good amount of demographic figures that would help him in setting his research right. However, Sebastian refused to admit being inspired from Aamir Khan's talk show and said that his will be a show that will involve the debate while Aamir's is a chat show.
