We have already started imagining Ranbir Kapoor acting naughty and asking for a chumma from Deepika Padukone. A source tells a daily, “Karan Johar, director Ayaan Mukherjee, Ranbir and Deepika are huge fans of the Big B. It was decided they'd do one of his songs and dance in Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani. The question was which one?”

Keeping Ranbir’s impish charm and Deepika’s glam quotient in mind, it was decided that Jumma Chumma with its naughty, perky rhythms and lines would suit Ranbir to the hilt. As soon as the makers selected the song, they acquired the rights of the chartbuster.

However, what Ranbir and Deepika will do in it, is yet to be seen. Either they will try to re-create the same magic of Amitabh Bachchan and Kimi Katkar in the super-hit track of the movie Hum, aping the same dance steps, or they will give an entire new spin to the peppy track.

P.S. The original number, a duet, whose music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, was sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sudesh Bhosle. Bhosle was brought in to imitate Amitabh Bachchan's rich baritone when Bachchan begged off from singing what he considered a difficult and high-pitched song.
