Actor-turned-director Pooja Bhatt is fuming with reports that said she is unwilling to accept any cuts to her film Jism2 or that the Censor Board has refused to certify the film. Says Pooja, “Both the theme and the content of my film are bold. It is an erotic film and I know it will be certified A, so there’s no question of not getting it.
As far as the cuts are concerned, I think the Board has been really mature about it. They asked me to use my discretion and carry out the cuts. I knew there will be problem with thelovemaking scenes I deliberately shot it lengthy which I am willing to reduce, in fact that is making my film more taut and erotic.
” According to her, the other shots that the Censor has a problem with, feature in song sequences, which are already out on the Internet. “Even if I have to replace that or edit it, it doesn’t take away the erotica factor from my film,” says Pooja, who has done the required changes. At the time of going to press, Dino Morea, who is co-producing the film was in the Censor office and according to Pooja, was to get the certificate by 4pm.
