There was a buzz that director K S Ravikumar was planning to remake Kollywood super hit 'Saami' in Hindi and Sanjay Dutt would be the protagonist. It was also said Trisha would be the heroine. While the first part of the above para is set to become a reality soon, the latter part is not going to materialize.

And one has to blame Trisha's Kollywood commitments for that. The actress, who is currently shooting for Vishal's 'Samar', Jiiva's 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Jayam' Ravi's 'Boologam', has politely turned down the offer to play the heroine of the Bollywood version of 'Saami'.  "Yes, I didn't have an option since my dates were full for the next few months," says Trisha, adding: I have to shoot back to back and I also have to travel extensively."
