Fresh, unusual pairings seem to be the order of the day in Bollywood. Filmmakers are going that extra mile to ensure that they get a fresh pair that hasn’t been seen on the big screen. This time, it is actors Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, who have been signed on for the sequel of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. Imran has just returned from his trip to Europe, wherehe had gone with wife Avantika, while Sonakshi has just finished shooting for Son of Sardar. The duo, who met recently was reportedly seen chatting up with each other.

A source close to them reveals, “Imran usually doesn’t open up very easily with anyone. He takes time getting to know his co-stars, especially if they are people he hasn’t met at all. Once he gets to know them, he is extremely friendly but he takes time to break the ice. But when Imran met Sonakshi for the first time on the first day of prep session, he seemed to be very friendly with her.

They’ve never worked together except for a cover shoot of a magazine. It was the first time that they actually met properly and took everyone by surprise. Imran broke the ice as he told her in detail about his trip to Europe with Avantika, and Sonakshi was all ears. They didn’t even realise that it had been a hour since they’d been talking until they were called in.” Apart from Imran’s recent trip, the duo was also seen talking about Sonakshi’s films Dabbang and Rowdy Rathore. Infact, Imran was also talking about Sonakshi’s item number in Oh My God.
