Yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna, who was admitted to a city hospital Saturday night, is doing fine and will be staying there for a few days. Khanna was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra, a few days after he was released from the same hospital.
“He is fine now and will be there in hospital for two-three days. He was admitted due to weakness and low blood pressure,” Khanna’s estranged wife, Dimple Kapadia, told PTI. Dimple and daughter Rinkie are by his side. Earlier in June, Khanna’s manager had claimed that the “Aradhana” star had stopped food intake for three-four days but was at home.
Next day he emerged at the balcony of his bungalow Aashirwad, on Carter Road in Bandra, and waved to his fans and media to assure that he is fine. Soon after on 23 June, Khanna was admitted to Lilavati hospital due to exhaustion and weakness. He was discharged on 8 July. In the month of April he was admitted to the hospital for a few days after he complained of uneasiness and exhaustion. Recently, Khanna appeared in his first TV ad for Havell’s fan, directed by R Balki.
