Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors recently suggested some changes to Ramcharan Teja’s production-debut “Zanjeer”. The ‘bad boy of Bollywood’ invited Teja and Director Apoorva Lakhia to discuss how to improve and contemporize ‘Zanjeer’.

After a detailed comparison between the old and new versions of the film, the trio reportedly came up with primary changes in the character of ‘Vijay Khanna’, portrayed in the original film by Amitabh Bachan. According to Indian media sources, Khan told Teja, ‘You’re one of the best dancers in Indian cinema. It would be silly to not have you sing and dance.”

Sources added that Khan proposed Priyanka Chopra’s character to be more glamorous because he feels that by changing Chopra’s style and clothes, her character would appear “more attractive.” Khan has displayed a keen interest in the Zanjeer remake because he feels quite protective towards Teja and because his father Salim Khan co-wrote the screenplay for the original.
