Bipasha Basu always believes in making statements be it for her bold roles, her fab bikini bod, her Cleopatra-esque eye make up, or her hunky arm candies. This dusky beauty claims that she does not believe in kowtowing to the contemporary mores, neither can she be a ‘blonde’ to impress men. In an interview with Times of IndiaBipasha Basu reveals her true bratty self and her take on men:

Puppy love: At 15 Bipasha believed that she had met the man of her dreams. Being miss goodie-two-shoes that she was, she immediately went and told her mom about her boyfriend. She was so much in love with him that she wanted to marry him, had turned vegetarian and had given up wearing shorts because she did not want to intimidate his conservative family.

Mommy’s Opinion: Guess what kind of guy Bips’ mom wants for her? Well, a Hindu guy who is rich, tall and of course good. Bipasha confessed that none of her boyfriends had ever pleased her mom and never made it by  her yardstick. Why do men like dumb girls: Bipasha says that men love to feel superior and are intimidated by any woman who is smart and can strike an intelligent conversation and so they are so much in love with dumb girls. It’s a truth verified. She has often tested men by playing dumb and claims that it never fails.

Today’s men want Mommies not girlfriends: Today’s men are very insecure and have very frail confidence and are in constant need of someone’s sympathy and care. What they need are mothers, according to Bipasha. Well guess what? This hottie has no time for sympathy. As Bipasha told  TOI ,  “Arrey yeh toh ladke hain na aaj-kal, bilkul loser type hote hain. ” and of course, she is in no mood to entertain losers.

Bipasha’s ideal man: A girl’s ideal man is always her father and it’s no different in case of Bipasha. Her father seems to have made it tough for her by raising the bar for other men. That makes it so difficult for her to get smart guys with a great sense of humour, those who are not intimidated by beautiful and intelligent women.
