It’s been a while since actor Priyanka Chopra has spent time at home doing nothing. “I don’t know what a holiday feels like anymore,” she says, talking about her hectic pace of work. “Thankfully, I am doing work that I am enjoying and feel for,” adds the actor, who’s recently wrapped up the schedule of her film Barfi with actor Ranbir Kapoor. “Contrary to the subject and what’s been talked about it, it’s a light film,” says Priyanka.

As for the variety of roles that she’s been doing of late, PC says that she couldn’t have asked for a better mix. “I am super content with the kind of roles I have been doing. And I am glad to find much appreciation for them as well,” she adds. “As long as I am doing good work, I am happy being busy too!” exclaims PC. Having wrapped up Barfi, the actor will soon resume the shoot for Krissh 2, post which she hopes to hop away to LA for her music album.

But while work may keep her too busy to enjoy a holiday, the actor doesn’t let it keep her away from supporting the causes she strongly believes in. And one such cause is cancer awareness, for which the actor even took time off her hectic schedule to attend an event held to support the cause.

But while this is the face that people got to see of the actor on the ramp in support of cancer awareness, sources reveal that she has in fact always lent her support when it comes to such social causes. In fact, the actor had earlier walked the ramp for actor Salman Khan’s charity event for Being Human as well. “She has been shooting non-stop for Barfi and the get-up itself is such that it needs extra hours to look the part.

So, it was a tight call this time around for her to attend this event as she had to head straight from the shoot. But she went ahead just to lend her support as this is a cause she strongly feels for,” says the source. “These are causes that need our support and I am more than happy to do whatever I can for them,” Priyanka had earlier said.
