Imran Khan's exit from Sajid Nadiawala and Karan Johar's 2 STATES, a film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's popular novel with the same name, news were rife as to who would be the next male lead in the said film.

However, the serious trouble of finding a suitable hero for the project is solved and the producers can heave a sigh of relief.Now the much touted film will star Arjun Kapoor, who shot to fame with ISHAQZAADE, in the lead role. Both Karan and Sajid were highly impressed with his acting skills in his debut film.
