The distribution rights case of Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan's new film Bol Bachchan will be heard today in a Nagpur court. The court will hear the arguments of the producers, Ajay Devgn's company Ashtavinayak Cine Vision. The planned July 6 release of the film will depend on the court's decision.
The Nagpur based distributors, Hira Laxmi Amusement, have alleged that Ajay's company dishonoured a deal and refused to return an advance of Rs. 1 crore. They have asked the court to stay the release of the film till the matter is resolved.
Ajay Devgn earlier said he had not cheated anyone. "It is ridiculous. The matter is in court and with the association. He is saying something, we are saying something. So whoever is right, the right thing will be done," Ajay told PTI. Bol Bachchan is a romantic-comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai in lead roles.
