This is the latest on Superstar Rajinikanth. Reports are rife that Rajini will be a part of the Bollywood film Dhoom 3. This is a part of the Dhoom franchise, which includes the mega hits Dhoom 1 and 2. Dhoom 3 is a multi-starrer with Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra and Jackie Shroff in lead roles.

According to the grapevine, Aamir Khan — who plays a villain, and producers Yash Raj Films, had approached Rajinikanth for an important cameo role in Dhoom 3. Apparently, they wanted him to play the chief antagonist and sources say that the idea materialised after watching Rajini’s negative role in Robo (Endhiran).

Close sources who know Rajini well say that he is unlikely to accept the offer. Considering the fact that he has a larger-than-life image in south, accepting a villain’s role will affect his south market, they opine.
“Endhiran was altogether a different proposition!

He played a dual role as a good guy and a bad person, where good triumphs over the bad, which was accepted by his fans,” they reason out. As of now, his full concentration is on Kochadiayaan’s release.
