While Kareena had reportedly developed cold feet, when she was offered a role opposite the ‘serial-kisser’ Emraan Hashmi, Deepika Padukone has no qualms whatsoever in working in that movie.

We had told you about how Karan Johar was planning to incorporate a totally fresh pair in the form of Kareena and Emraan into his upcoming production. But those plans have gone kaput now since Ms. Kapoor, who’s soon to turn Ms. Khan, was too preoccupied with her own ambitious venture ‘Heroine’, or at least that’s what she quoted the reason to be.

Since in Bollywood, ‘one person’s trash is other’s gold’ holds true, according to reports, Deepika has given a nod to star opposite Hashmi in the movie. The movie is to be produced jointly by Ekta kapoor and Karan Johar. Though we do admit that Kareena would have been an absolute boon to the project, but we aren’t any less excited about Emraan-Deepika as a pair.

KJo had stated that the genre of the movie would be romance and the ensemble would also include Kangana Ranaut and Randeep Hooda et al. Right now, Karan is busy with the post-production of his upcoming directorial ‘Student of the Year’, so the Emraan-Deepika movie would expectedly go on floors after that only.
