Actor Anil Kapoor himself is a doting dad of three — Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan. Nonetheless, Anilimmensely misses his father, Bollywood producer Surendra Kapoor.The veteran producer who passed away last year due to prolonged illness is survived by his three sons — Boney, Anil and Sanjay. And recently after watching an upcoming film, Anil spoke about how he owes everything he is today to his dad and misses him immensely.

Talking about his father, Anil said, “My father wanted me to become an actor. I remember when I told him that I wanted to go abroad, he supported me and made sure it happened. I was in fact the first person in my family to travel abroad. Today, whatever I am, I owe it to him. Had he not supported me that time, I wouldn’t be here.”

It was affer the screening of an upcoming film starring Sharman Joshi that Anil was reminded about his father. “Iusually don’t get so immersed in any film. But this film touched me. The bond that the father-son share on-screen, constantly reminded me of my relationship with my father,” adds Anil.
