Shahrukh Khan enjoy to Akon's 38th birthday in Mumbai: The multi-talented Akon, who is a songwriter, singer and a producer is all set to celebrate his birthday with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a day prior to his concert in India.

Akon will perform in Gurgaon on 16th April followed by Bengaluru on 17th April. He will celebrate his birthday on 15th April with his fans and Bollywood friends one day before his actual birthday. Confirming Akon’s birthday bash in India, Sujit Jain, MD-Netsurf Entertainment (concert organisers) said, “After his private event last year, Akon wanted to give the general public, along with the B-Town fraternity, an opportunity to share in his (birthday) celebration and party and dance the night away.”

Akon will not be performing in Mumbai and Pune because of high entertainment taxes that are levied on concerts in these states. Buzz is also in the air that Akon who will feature in Shah Rukh’s upcoming home production “Ra One” is likely to rock at a private gig either in Pune or Mumbai.

A source stated “The concerts were actually supposed to kick off this weekend. But he postponed his trip to be able to celebrate his birthday here. He has a major gig in Los Angeles the week after that.”The source said further, “This will be the first time the star will celebrate his birthday away from his home. Invites have already gone out to his close friends from B-Town. SRK and gang are expected to attend.”
