Actor Ajay Devgn was in for a pleasant surprise recently, when Alex the Lion, from the Madagascar animation series dropped by on the Bollywood actor’s film set of Son of Sardarto meet him. Alex, who is the main character of the successful animation franchisee was in the city as part of the promotional drive for the upcoming film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. According to a production insider, Ajay was zeroed in because of his Singham image and also because he’s known to be a fan of the series.

A source present on the sets reveals, “Ajay had a great time interacting with Alex and he even expressed his and his family’s admiration for the Madagascar movies.” When asked,Ajay said, “It was a nice surprise to meet Alex the Lion on the SOS sets and I am definitely looking forward to Madagascar 3 when it releases!”
