With Rowdy Rathore cashing in over 50 crores over the weekend, looks like actress Sonakshi Sinha is the new golden girl of Bollywood, especially when it comes to her alpha male actors.

Not only has the actress been cast opposite A-list actors, she's also managed to become quite a hit with her co-stars, most of them many years her senior. Ajay Devgn organised a big chocolate birthday cake for her on the sets of Son of Sardar and Akshay Kumar looked on indulgently as she tucked into a cake celebrating the success of Rowdy Rathore.

So what is it about her that's so endearing? Word is, in spite of her film lineage, Sonakshi is refreshingly devoid of starry airs and her great sense of humour (remember the Sonakshi's forehead Twitter trend and her sporting reaction to it?) has made her popular with her senior co-stars.
