Not long ago we reported that half-Asian model turned actor, Nargis Fakhri lost out on a dream role opposite Akshay Kumar, because of apparent changes she couldn't control. And, guess what, looks like Asin is all set to replace Nargis.

What was meant to be her next big film after Rockstar, Akshay’s home production Khiladi 786, will now star Asin after Nargis' ouster. Apparently, the filmmakers realised that the Nargis would never fit in as Mithun Da’s sister in the flick and hence, they've replaced her with Askhay's hot new favourite- Asin.

According to reports, Asin was roped in as has been a part of various blockbusters of recent times and her girl next door image seemed perfect for her to fit into the role of Mithun Da's sister. Wonder if the audience will appreciate this last minute change! Well, strange is B-Town and stranger are its ways.
