Bollywood biggies Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapur turned up in full force to cheer for their loved ones at an event organised by Shiamak Davar's dance institute. While SRK played a cheerleader to daughter Suhana, Shahid was all praise for his younger brother Ishaan.
Like most Bollywood superstars, King Khan too would like to see his daughter take up the acting platform, he admitted. Accompanied by wife Gauri, the actor arrived to watch Suhana perform at the event. "I'm keen that my daughter, if she wants and can grow up to be an actress, this is one of the best training grounds I can send her to," SRK said.
Like every doting father, SRK too believes in playing cheerleader to his little one. "Children get conscious with their parents around. I am a performing parent so I know. So I keep my eyes down. I just hope the confidence keeps increasing. All children danced well," he said. Asked about SRK's association with the dance legend, he admitted that Shiamak has been the family's favourite.
"I have known him for 20 years, (I) respect him. He has been teaching my family to dance since years, from my children to me... have failed with me," SRK said. Interestingly, Shahid also arrived at the event for some morale boosting to Ishaan, who too performed. "Bahut accha lag raha hai that my brother is also now with Shiamak. He has been very sweet and taken special care of my brother," an obliged Shahid said.
For Shahid, who too was a student of Shiamak, it was a trip down the memory lane. Asked about his younger sibling, the actor said that he has already outsmarted him. "He (Ishaan) teaches me dancing. He says my style is outdated. So, I thought he should come to Shiamak's because he will learn how to be humble," Shahid said.
However, for Shiamak, Shahid was still his favourite as he was really happy with the actor's skills as a dancer. "You have not seen what he is capable of as a dancer and choreographer," Shiamak said. Looking at SRK and Shahid, it becomes more evident that Shiamak's dance institute is the big ticket to Bollywood for a kid with starry dreams.
