Kunal Kohli, who is donning director's hat once again in romantic-drama Teri Meri Kahaani, is out with another theatrical trailer. Kaminey's hot jodi Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra reunite for the film. The trailer begins with 1910 era. While the nation is struggling for freedom against
the British rule, Shahid Kapoor's character is shown sleeping with an english lady and he says: "Wo humare desh ki le re hain, main unki le ra hu." The film is a timeless love story, as the premise is set in 1910, 1960 and 2012. Shahid Kapoor will play Javed, Govind and Krish. Priyanka Chopra will be seen as Aradhana, Rukhsar and Radha.
After Vishal Bharadwaj's hit film Kaminey, in which he featured in a double role opposite Priyanka Chopra, Shahid was seen in Dil Bole Hadippa!, Chance Pe Dance, Paathshaala, Badmaash Company, Milenge Milenge and Mausam. All of these films didn't fare well at the BO. Now, the actor is hopeful his chemistry with Priyanka will work for the film, which he says is diametrically different from their previous film.
Post Kaminey, Priyanka had duds like What's Your Raashee?, Pyaar Impossible!, 7 Khoon Maaf and Anjaana Anjaani. But her recent hit films like Don 2 and Agneepath made up for it. Kohli's last direction Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic was a flop. Will he be able to recreate the magic of Fanaa and Hum Tum? Wait and watch!
